Are there discounts for repeat orders?
HII highly values repeat business, so we honor a 50% discount on all setup charges for all re-orders placed within 1 year of the original order date. Please provide your previous purchase order number to ensure exact order duplication. (Please note that any alterations in the art or product will constitute as a new order).

Are we able to order less than your minimum order quantity?
Yes, you are able to order no less than 1/2 of what our standard MOQ is at an additional 15% surcharge. In other words if the MOQ is typically 100 pieces, the least you would be able to purchase would be 50 pieces at an additional 15% charge. Do you charge for artwork modification?
HII provides a complimentary half hour for artwork modifications on each order. Any additional time required will be prorated at $80/hr (V).

How are shipping and handling charges calculated?
Shipping and handling charges are based on the total weight and overall dimensions of your order. Oversized or heavy items may have an additional shipping cost depending on the method of transportation. Charges calculated at the time of checkout are only an estimate. The actual cost will be charged at the time of shipping.

Is there a charge for drop shipments?
Yes, $7.00(V) per location per label.

Is there any charge for paper or virtual proofs?
No. We provide all paper proofs and virtual proofs free of charge.

What is your rush order policy?
We provide a rush service of 3 to 5 days production (after final approval) based on availability. An additional charge of 15% or $100(V) (whichever is greater) will be applied.

Your pricing only shows printed goods. Do you sell blanks?
Yes we do. Blank items are sold at carton quantities at next column pricing.

What is HII's policy regarding over/under runs?
HII will typically produce 3% over/under run per order unless otherwise specified. There is no additional charge for exact quantity, but it must be specified on the PO prior to production.

What is your standard method of shipping?
Standard shipping is done through UPS ground. FedEx shipments are available as well, but please specify that on your PO prior to the ship date. For USPS shipments, an additional $50.00(V) handling fee plus normal shipping charges will be applied to your order.

How do I get tracking information on my orders?
Unfortunately we do not have an automated system to update our customers on tracking information YET. However if you call/email our office during normal business hours, we will gladly update you on your order status.

What is your returns and exchanges policy?
If for any reason you are not happy with your order, you have 30 days to notify our staff before the sale becomes final. Once notified, an HII officer will contact you to go over the details of the order and how to proceed.

Do I need to pay sales tax?
Standard sales tax applies to all orders placed within CA, unless a valid resale certificate is presented.

Do you accept credit cards or checks for payments/deposits?
We accept both credit cards and checks as a form of payment. Please note however that a surcharge may be applied when paying by card. On orders totaling $3000 or more, a 50% deposit is required either by check or credit card before the order can be processed. The remaining balance must then be paid in full at the time the order is ready to ship.

My item is back-ordered, what do I do?
Backorders: If an item is backordered, we will notify you via phone call or email. Shipments for clients scheduled more than 30 days after the order date will be notified in advance, and will be given the option to cancel free of charge.
Filling backorders: Backorders will be filled before new orders when the backordered items become available.

A product on your website is priced differently than what is in your catalog, which is correct?
Our website reflects the most up to date changes on our products, as well as pricing. Pricing is subject to change at any time, but in the event of a discrepancy HII will honor the lower price.

Do you charge for PMS color matching?
We do not guarantee the exact match of specific PMS colors, but we do our best to come as close as possible free of charge.

Is there a separate charge for half tones?
Yes, an additional $60(V) will apply.

My client wants a 1 color imprint done with two separate colors. Is there a screen wash out charge?
Yes, a $30(V) charge will apply per color.

My company gets preferred pricing through your CO-OP program, does that apply to overseas quotes as well?
Unfortunately the CO-OP program is catered toward domestic orders only. For special pricing on overseas orders, please contact Ryan Hung at ryanhung@handyproducts.com.

What is your samples policy?
We supply random printed samples at end quantity pricing. Samples with a total balance of $10 or under are shipped at no charge, only if we are provided with a FedEx/UPS shipping account number.

When sending art files, what formats do you accept?
We accept the following formats: - Adobe Illustrator (.ai)
- Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)
- Corel Draw (.eps)
- Tiff files accepted above 600 dpi
- Mac or PC formats are both accepted.
All jpeg, bmp, or doc files will be rejected.
